Skype Code Sandbox
My Role
Concept generation, wireframe sketching, presentation material copy and design
Project Overview
In Computer-Supported Collaborative Work, a master's-level course at Indiana University, my team was charged with creating a concept for Skype that would make it easier for programmers in the United States and India to work on code together. We had three days to come up with the concept, create and test a paper prototype, and make a design presentation document to present to our colleagues.
We used our own experiences with programming workflow and communication between coworkers to develop the Skype Code Sandbox, a paper prototype of an addon that would give programmers a shared space to paste and manipulate code together while still being able to see and hear each other during a discussion.
